With a background in Computer Science and social research methods, Dipanjan studies Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning ethnomethodologically—asking how such work actually gets done and what is involved in doing it. Dipanjan's research interests lie in Science and Technology Studies (STS), algorithm studies, human-computer interaction (HCI), and ethnomethodology.
